
Chilean Committee
The Chilean Committee is made up of the Chilean
community in our Parish. The committee sponsors numerous social
and fund raising activities.
Their main event is the celebration of “La Virgen
del Carmen.”
"La devoción del escapulario del Carmen ha hecho
descender sobre el mundo una copiosa lluvia de gracias espirituales y
temporales” (Pío XII, 6-VIII-1950).

Divino Niño
Committee The Divino Niño Committee is made up of the
Colombian community in our Parish. It sponsors numerous social and fund
raising activities.
The committee's main event is the celebration of the Feast of “El
Divino Niño.”
Comienza la devoción al Divino Niño en Colombia en
el año 1907, primero entre los carmelitas y después en la Comunidad
Salesiana. Fueron tantos los favores concedidos que los devotos
agradecidos propagaron la devoción por todas partes.

Dominican Republic Committee The Dominican Republic Committee is made up of the
Dominican community in our Parish. It sponsors numerous social and fund
raising activities.
The committee's main event is the celebration of “Nuestra Señora de
la Altagracia.”
Su nombre "de la Altagracia"
nos recuerda que por ella recibimos la mayor gracia que es tener a
Jesucristo Nuestro Señor. Ella, como Madre, continua su misión de
mediadora unida inseparablemente a su Hijo.

The committee's main event is the celebration of “El Señor de
Esquipulas.”
El Santo Padre Juan Pablo II visitó Guatemala el 6
de febrero de 1996 para celebrar los 400 años de haber sido esculpida la
Imagen del Señor de Esquipulas.

Honduras Committee  The Honduras Committee is made up of the Honduran
community in our Parish. It sponsors numerous social and fund raising

The committee's main event is the celebration of “La Virgen de
Suyapa.”

Patrona de la República de Honduras, y se escogió el 3 de febrero como
el día de la celebración patronal, con misa y oficio propios.

Mexican Committee The Mexican Committee is made up of the Mexican
community in our Parish. It sponsors numerous social and fund raising
activities.
The committee's main event is the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady
of Guadalupe.
The Lady of Guadalupe is of significant importance
to Mexican Catholics and has been given the titles of Queen of Mexico,
Empress of the Americas and Patroness of the Americas. The Basilica of
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the most visited Catholic shrine in the world.

Nicaraguan Committee The Nicaraguan Committee is made up of the
Nicaraguan community in our Parish. It sponsors numerous social and fund

The committee's main event is the celebration of the Solemnity of the
Immaculate Conception or “La Purisima.”
The feast of the Immaculate Conception, celebrated
on December 8, was established as a universal feast in 1476 by Pope
Sixtus IV.

la Divina Providencia, como patrona principal de la isla de Puerto Rico
mediante un decreto firmado el 19 de noviembre de 1969.

Trinidad and Tobago Committee  The Trinidad and Tobago Committee is made up of
parishioners who are from Trinidad and Tobago. It sponsors numerous
social and fund raising activities.
The committee's main event is the celebration of the Feast of Saint
Gertrude.
The Feast of St. Gertrude is celebrated on
November 16, the date of her death in 1301 or 1302.
