Rosary Society
The St. Mary Star of the Sea and St. Gertrude
Rosary Society encourages devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary through
praying the Rosary at its regular meetings.
It sponsors numerous social and fund raising
activities and supports the liturgical programs of the Church.
Providing
spiritual help and support for each member, its members benefit from
Masses offered for those living and deceased.
The Rosary Society meets every fourth (4th)
Sunday of the Month after the 8:15 am Mass.

Stewardship Committee The St. Mary Star of the Sea Stewardship committee
encourages parishioners to use their many gifts and talents to
invigorate the life of our parish community.
It sponsors numerous social and fund raising activities that support the
programs of our Parish.

Ladies of the Sacred Heart / Damas del
Sagrado Corazón The Ladies of the Sacred Heart encourage and foster
a spirit of community and prayer in our parish.
It sponsors numerous social and fund raising activities that support the
programs of our Parish.
The Ladies work to help the Pastor fund special programs offered by the
parish. The Ladies of the Sacred Heart meet every fourth (4th) Sunday of
the month after the 11:30 am Mass.

Legion of Mary / Legión de María The Legion of Mary encourages devotion to the
Blessed Virgin Mary through praying the Rosary. They also foster a
spirit on evangelization in our parish.
They pray the Rosary as a group at meetings, and visit families in our
parish to pray the Rosary with them.
The Legion also visits funeral homes to pray with parish families in mourning.
